Igor Smojver, D.M.D. graduated from the Schoolof Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb in 2009. During his studies, he was a demonstrator at the Department of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and a volunteer at the Department of Oral Surgery. He completed his specialist training in the Clinic for Oral Surgery at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb and passed the specialist exam in 2016. He finished postgraduate doctoral study in dental medicine in 2023, under the mentorship of prof. Dragan Gabrić from the field of Dental Implantology.
He has been specially trained in periodontal plastic surgery and modern augmentation techniques at the Hurzeler / Zuhr Academy in Munich.
He is the author and co-author of several professional articles and scientific papers published in foreign and domestic professional journals.
He regularly participates in professional development courses at home and abroad, occasionally as a lecturer.
He is a member of the Croatian Chamber of Dental Medicine (HKDM), Croatian Society for Oral Surgery (HDOK), Croatian Society of Dental Implantology (HDDI).
In everyday work, special emphasis is placed on microsurgical operative techniques, soft tissue interventions and implant-prosthetic rehabilitation in the aesthetic zone.
